Perfect balance
For me, it was the texture that raised this head and shoulders above mass-produced snack sticks. Not oily, but the perfect point between moist and dried. The chew is extremely satisfying and enhances the 'full' feeling. And the flavor is the cherry on top. Love these!

Awesomeness!
The first time I tried one, I split one in half and shared it with my wife when we were both very hungry. I'm 6'3" tall and I can eat more than most but that half of the Landjager stick made me feel totally full until dinner time. The taste reminded me of a slim jim only much better and much larger. I am always in the woods and this is now going to be my new backpacking food!

You won't eat the whole thing in one sitting.
This thing is amazing, the flavor is fantastic. Me and my wife shared one for a snack, and could barely finish it! Very heavy tasting, and very filling. This one would be great for a hike. That and maybe some peanuts, and you've got a meal for two.
